This repository curates LLM services that are currently available for free via API, organized into two categories — “permanently free” and “sign-up credits” — and is actively maintained.
Permanently free platforms include OpenRouter (50 requests/day, access to models like Llama 3.3 70B), Google AI Studio (Gemini series, 20–500 requests/day depending on the model), Groq (blazing fast inference, multiple Llama models available), GitHub Models (requires a GitHub account, gives access to OpenAI models like GPT-4o, o3), and over a dozen other platforms. Platforms offering sign-up credits are also listed.
